Today for Hall Day we have been doing I.C.T and in that subject we have been making a childeren’s book, ours is called Oucho’s Adeventure and it is about a Cactus that was born from a seed and got lost and he went on a quest to find his family and everytime he got to a diffrent place he found a memeber of his family but there was a bit of a twist, Oucho’s cousin Caroline the carrot was kidnapped by two rabbits but then Oucho gave them a good telling off, and then rabbits soon let Caroline go and they they carried on with the quest and when they found everyone in oucho’s family they all had a party!

We then also had to do three posters, one aimed at childeren, then another one aimed at Adults and then one more aimed for libarys, then we had to do a press release to advertise it to people, to let them know when it was going to be published how much it would cost.

If i had to do this again i dont think i woud because everything has to be just right and its really difficult just to make up your own story because you have to make sure you have all the right punctuation amd i find that really difficult, But Hall Day today was the best one yet!

when im at home im on faceook all the time, i never have to  have an argument with my sister over the laptop, but when i got to my mums i just know she goes on it, but i will catch her one day and then she will be in trouble, sometimes when im at home though i could be sitting on facebook and listening to music and it would just pause and not do anything or it would switch off and sometimes it says its connected and then when i type i a website it doesnt do anything but apart form that i havnt really had any problems.

When im at school on the netbook we dont really get to use them that often when we are in tutorial with our tutor Jess, she lets us use them for our work and we get to use them in registration, and we also ge to use them in English Humanities, with our teacher Kay we use them to look on the internet for things to do with history at the moment we have been doing about Hitler, when we use the netbooks in English Humanities we are on them for the whole lesson and at the end of the lesson we have to send all of the work to her, and we also use them in French but that only if we are in the computer room because not all of the students in our french class has them, and we use them in Science too, we look on the internet for things like microbes and we do lots of powerpoints and things like that. iwould say since ive ahd the netbook i have improbed alot in my work ive kept ontop of ,my homework and i never miss the deadline since i have had the netbook because ive been able to look on plannerLIVE  and then do my homework and send it straught away as soon as ive done it.

it so much easier for me to do my homework on ive been getting all my homework done on time and ive been completing all my work in lessons and they have been sent when ive been told.

and the best thing  i love about the netbooks is thhat we get to trake the home and we can go on facebook, msn, bebo and twitter and al that stuff but whats been annoying me lately is that we have to carry it around everywhere with us and its really hurting my shoulder and sometimes when we are in protway the internet connection doesnt always work and they go really slow.
